The posting

At Seymour Hotels we take pride in delivering exceptional experiences and creating magical memories. Our success is built on the dedication and passion of our employees, and we invite you to join a team committed to excellence beyond the ordinary for both our guests and colleagues.

We are proud to be recognized as the Jersey Best Workplace 2024 – Large Enterprise Winner, a testament to the incredible culture and success we’ve built together.

We’re looking for a hands-on Office and Stock Control Coordinator to join our busy team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office admin and physical tasks, thrives on keeping things organised, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.

This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Please state clearly in your application whether you are applying for full-time or part-time hours.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the office team, ensuring paperwork, records and systems are accurate, up to date and well organised.
  • Manage stock control for key operational items (e.g. uniforms, guest amenities, stationery and consumables), ensuring appropriate levels are maintained across the business.
  • Raise purchase orders, process deliveries and invoices, and reconcile stock movements in line with company procedures.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and audits, investigating discrepancies and highlighting any issues or trends to your manager.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to coordinate orders, deliveries and returns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain tidy, safe and well‑organised stockrooms and storage areas, following health and safety and manual‑handling guidelines at all times.
  • Support with basic data entry and reporting, producing simple summaries or spreadsheets to help the team track usage, spend and variances.
  • Assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, printing, responding to emails and answering telephone queries.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the hotels, building strong relationships and providing a helpful, responsive service.
  • Act as an ambassador for Seymour Hotels, living our values and helping to create magical memories for both our guests and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in an administrative, stock control or coordination role, ideally within hospitality, retail or a similar fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable with a mix of office‑based and physical work, including lifting, moving and organising stock (with appropriate equipment and training).
  • Confident using basic IT systems (e.g. Outlook, Excel and stock or ordering systems); happy to learn new systems and processes.
  • Numerate and comfortable working with figures, quantities and simple reports.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach – you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Able to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • A genuine team player – friendly, supportive and able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Good communication skills with a professional, helpful manner.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible, with a positive attitude and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” when needed.
  • Experience in housekeeping is a bonus—but not essential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
