The posting

[What the role is]

Are you passionate about shaping the future of the electricity sector through economic regulation? Join our dynamic team as we work at the forefront of ensuring fair and efficient markets in the energy industry. You will have the opportunity to analyse market dynamics, develop regulatory frameworks, and drive policy initiatives that promote competition, security of supply, and sustainability. If you are ready to tackle complex challenges and make a meaningful impact on the way electricity is produced, distributed and consumed, apply now!

[What you will be working on]

The successful candidate is required to:

  • Review economic regulation frameworks to ensure that appropriate economic incentives are in place for natural monopolies to operate efficiently and invest prudently in energy infrastructure.
  • Assess the regulated fees and tariffs charged by monopolies to ensure adequate recovery of prudent investments.
  • Review the regulated gas tariffs.
  • Review the licensing framework to embrace new business models and new energy technologies, and assess licence applications to allow new entrants to the gas sector.
  • Handle consumer enquiries and feedback.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • Education in economics, accountancy, finance, business or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in economic analysis and policy work. Experience in economic regulation of natural monopolies or large-scale infrastructure development is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Resourceful, able to work independently and in a team.
  • Able to work under tight timelines and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Positive team player with a strong interest to shape the future of Singapore's energy industry.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
