Wat de functie van Douanedelarant bij SGS Maco zo typeert en interessant maakt:

  • Beoordelen van de door de opdrachtgevers verstrekte gegevens op correctheid en volledigheid. Bij niet volledig, of niet correct verstrekte gegevens wordt dit tijdig en correct gecommuniceerd naar de opdrachtgever en intern aan de verantwoordelijke collega;
  • Tijdig invoeren en indienen van douane- en aanverwante aangiften, conform de wettelijke eisen, de interne procedures van SGS Maco en eventuele specifieke wensen van de opdrachtgever;
  • Indien nodig, communiceren met de klant, douane en andere afdelingen van SGS Maco met betrekking tot de (gedane) aangiften;
  • Zorg dragen voor het correct, volledig en tijdig elektronisch archiveren van gedane aangiften;
  • Zorg dragen voor het actueel en op niveau houden van kennis van douanewetgeving, -procedures,-vergunningen en alle voorkomende soorten douane- en aanverwante aangiften door het aanvragen van bijvoorbeeld cursussen, seminars, het lezen vakliteratuur en de intern aangereikte hulpmiddelen;
  • Constateren van knelpunten voor het aangifteproces en andere processen.

De declarant draagt verantwoording af aan de teamleider.

  • Heeft kennis van en ervaring met douanewetgeving, -procedures,-vergunningen en alle voorkomende soorten douane- en aanverwante aangiften;
  • Heeft kennis van en ervaring met handels- en logistieke processen;
  • Is in staat om zowel naar klanten, als douane, als de eigen interne organisatie te communiceren en ook de commerciële belangen daarbij in te kunnen schatten;
  • Kan secuur werken en is integer en stressbestendig;
  • Is in staat zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband te werken;
  • Heeft de vakopleiding declarant gevolgd of op andere wijze de benodigde kennis verworven;
  • Heeft basiskennis van en ervaring met specifieke douane applicaties en Microsoft Office applicaties (met name Excel en Word);
  • Beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
