SGS Ewacs is gespecialiseerd in onafhankelijk en grensoverschrijdend afvalstoffenbeheer. Met een vergund milieucentrum in Melsele, een nieuwe transportinfrastructuur en een interventiedienst voor calamiteiten met gevaarlijke producten. Zo verovert SGS Ewacs een unieke positie op de Belgische milieumarkt.

Ter uitbreiding van ons vast team chauffeurs gaan we op zoek naar een gedreven ADR-Chauffeur met rijbewijs CE. Zo zet je mee je schouders onder het volledige logistieke proces dat gevaarlijke afvalstoffen ondergaan.

Vacatureomschrijving

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket:

  • Ophalingen bij klanten van chemische afvalstoffen volgens geldende wetgevingen;
  • Labelen van de afvalstoffen volgens ADR en Vlarem wetgeving;
  • Afvoeren van grote homogene partijen vanuit het Milieucentrum naar eindverwerkers;
  • Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens;
  • Transporten over heel België, occasioneel Nederland;
  • Op lange termijn opgeleid worden om mee ingeschakeld te worden in het interventieteam als chauffeur-operator.

Functie-eisen

  • Je bezit een Europees C(E) rijbewijs. (medische schifting staat vermeld op het rijbewijs, vakbekwaamheid); een ADR getuigschrift is uiteraard een pluspunt;
  • Ervaring in transport is een vereiste;
  • Je kan zelf een huifwagen beladen met transpallet; kunnen lossen en laden met een vrachtwagenkraan is een pluspunt;
  • Je kan een correcte inschatting maken van het laadvermogen van de vrachtwagen;
  • Je bent hands-on gezien wij bij onze klanten nog veel voorbereiding hebben aan de te laden partijen;
  • Je bent punctueel richting wetgeving en documenten;
  • Je bent een matuur, betrouwbaar en stressbestendig persoon die probleemoplossend en zelfstandig werkt;
  • Je woont bij voorkeur in de omgeving van het Waasland.

Aanvullende informatie

  • Een job met verantwoordelijkheid, die je echter ook flexibiliteit biedt, zo is een flexibele uurregeling mogelijk, in onderling overleg;
  • Tewerkstelling binnen een internationaal en stabiel bedrijf;
  • Gebruik nieuwe transportinfrastructuur: een 20-tal eigen vrachtwagens en containers;
  • Een job met maatschappelijk nut, waarbij je je inzet om de veiligheid van je medemensen en het milieu op het vlak van afvalbeheer te verbeteren en te waarborgen;
