Buscamos un/a Jefe/a de Turno responsable de liderar y controlar la operación del laboratorio químico y muestrera durante su turno, asegurando la correcta ejecución de las actividades, la trazabilidad de la información y la calidad de los resultados, en cumplimiento de los estándares técnicos, normativos y contractuales del servicio.

Principales funciones

  • Coordinar y supervisar las actividades del laboratorio y muestrera, asegurando el cumplimiento de los programas de trabajo establecidos.
  • Liderar al equipo de turno (químicos, físicos y muestreros), asignando tareas, entregando lineamientos técnicos y controlando su ejecución.
  • Velar por el cumplimiento de los alcances contractuales del servicio, incluyendo calidad, tiempos de entrega y estándares operacionales.
  • Planificar las actividades del turno, asegurando disponibilidad de personal, insumos y recursos necesarios.
  • Supervisar la correcta aplicación de procedimientos, normas de calidad y estándares de seguridad.
  • Monitorear en tiempo real los procesos de QA/QC, asegurando la confiabilidad de los resultados.
  • Gestionar no conformidades, implementar acciones correctivas y proponer mejoras continuas en los procesos.
  • Asegurar la trazabilidad y calidad de la información generada para reportabilidad del servicio.
  • Evaluar el desempeño técnico del equipo mediante indicadores (KPIs) y promover su desarrollo.
  • Supervisar el estado y funcionamiento de equipos e instalaciones, coordinando acciones para su correcta operatividad.

Requisitos

  • Formación profesional en Ingeniería Química, Metalurgia, Licenciatura en Química o carrera afín.
  • Alternativamente, Técnico con al menos 8 años de experiencia en cargos similares.
  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia en laboratorio químico.
  • Conocimiento en equipos FRX, absorción atómica y LECO.
  • Experiencia en análisis químicos, preparación de muestras y procesos metalúrgicos.
  • Conocimiento en normativa de laboratorio, gestión de calidad y seguridad minera.
  • Disponibilidad para desempeñarse en la Región de Coquimbo.
  • Salud compatible con trabajo en faena.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar según requerimientos del cargo.
