Het Institute for Applied Chromatography (I.A.C.) is een gespecialiseerd labo dat zich toelegt op de bepaling van dioxines en micropolluenten met behulp van hoge resolutie massaspectrometrie en de bepaling van metalen op (ultra)trace-niveau met behulp van gekoppelde ICP-technieken.

💼 Jouw rol als Laborant PFAS

Binnen het IAC-labo onderzoeken we diverse stalen (voeding, water, bodem, verpakkingen, enz.) op de aanwezigheid van o.a. PFAS.

🔬 Wat ga je doen?

  • De voorbewerking en staalvoorbereiding van inkomende stalen voor PFAS-analyses. Gezien we als labo een waaier van matrices aanbieden, is er ook een waaier van verschillende voorbereidingsmethodes waarin jij je kan verdiepen.
  • Uitvoeren van metingen op high end LC-MS/MS systemen.
  • Het opvolgen en registreren van kwaliteitsparameters volgens vastgelegde procedures.
  • Het meedenken over mogelijke verbeteringen van methodes en werkprocedures.
  • Het correct gebruiken, onderhouden en controleren van laboratoriumapparatuur.
  • Het nauwkeurig uitvoeren van taken volgens duidelijke werkinstructies en kwaliteitsnormen.

Functie-eisen

Hou je van structuur, precisiewerk en een laboratoriumomgeving waar kwaliteit voorop staat? Dan pas jij perfect in ons team!

  • Je behaalde een bachelor diploma in Chemie, Biochemie, Farmaceutische laboratoriumtechnieken, Biomedische laboratoriumtechnologie of een andere wetenschappelijke richting.
  • Heb je geen hoger diploma, maar wel een sterke wetenschappelijke achtergrond en veel praktijkervaring in schoollabo's? Dan bekijken we graag samen jouw mogelijkheden.
  • Ervaring via een stage, studentenjob of eerdere functie in een analytisch labo, kwaliteitslabo of chemisch laboratorium is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je hebt een passie voor laboratoriumwerk en voelt je helemaal thuis tussen stalen, analyses en wetenschappelijke technieken.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en verantwoordelijk en hebt een echte hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in de haven van Antwerpen 🚢 en geraakt vlot op onze site.
