Inside Roofing Sales Consultant



Pay: $40,000–$45,000 per year + commission

Job type: Full-time, in-office (Overland Park, KS)

Shamrock Roofing & Construction has served homeowners since 1977, and we now have locations across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Homeowners call us every day. We need a sharp, experienced phone closer to turn those calls into inspections and signed projects.

This is not cold-calling from a script. You’ll work leads from homeowners who already need help. You’ll use your roofing or claims knowledge to guide them, and you’ll earn commission on every job you close.

A day in this role

  • Talk with homeowners who call in, find out what they need, and book roof inspections
  • Call back past and current customers to open new roofing and exterior projects
  • Walk homeowners through their options and the insurance claim process in plain language
  • Stay on top of open estimates and follow up until they’re decided
  • Keep clean, accurate notes in our CRM
  • Hand off sold jobs to our Project Managers so the job starts smoothly
  • Stay in touch with customers by phone, email and text

What we offer

  • $40,000–$45,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission on every closed sale
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance starting the first of the month after 30 days
  • PTO starts accruing after 30 days
  • 401(k) eligibility after 6 months
  • A steady weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch (Saturdays as needed)
  • A stable, family-owned company that has been growing for nearly 50 years

Requirements

What you bring

  • 1–2 years of roofing sales experience OR 1–2 years as an insurance adjuster (required)
  • Solid knowledge of residential roofing and homeowner insurance claims
  • Experience selling to homeowners or working directly with customers
  • A record of hitting your goals
  • Confidence handling objections and closing
  • Strong organization and follow-up habits
  • Comfort with a CRM, Google Workspace and basic spreadsheets

New hires complete a 90-day introductory period.
