Job title: IT Support Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan. Work schedules: Full-time Monday to Friday (8.00 AM - 5.00 PM)

Organization Overview: shareQ (www.shareq.org) is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals in 2012. shareQ is dedicated to innovating sustainable social projects and implementing them in collaboration with more than 30 NGOs. shareQ has currently two main departments, ProAbled (www.proabled.com) and ProAbled Social Kitchen (proabledsocialkitchen.com)

Description: IT Support maintains the computer networks and IT systems of the organization, ensuring reliable performance and smooth daily operations. The role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems, providing technical support to employees, installing and configuring hardware and software, and resolving technical issues as they arise. The IT Support also assists in system upgrades, evaluates new technologies, and ensures the security, efficiency, and proper functioning of IT resources across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Performing backups for local and web data and supporting backup recovery procedures
  • Providing technical support across the company
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Researching and testing new technologies to improve IT operations
  • Writing documentation and providing training to new users of existing systems
  • Organizing and maintaining IT resources and assets

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Proven minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and computer hardware
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and enterprise productivity tools
  • Understanding of system monitoring, backup and recovery procedures, and network troubleshooting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
