Vacancy for an Administrative Assistant

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5, Point 5

Hours: 27.5

Monday - Friday - 9am - 3pm

We have an exciting vacancy for an enthusiastic and well organised administrative assistant to join our 6th Form provision at Sharnbrook Academy.

The opportunity:

  • A fulfilling and rewarding role where you will be making a difference and valued as part of a team.
  • Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • An opportunity to use a range of administrative skills including scanning, filing, faxing and photocopying.
  • Arrange, coordinate and communicate details for meetings, training and events.
  • Outstanding professional development opportunities for all our staff.

The ideal candidate:

  • A good educational background - GCSE qualifications or above.
  • Experience of working in a school or office environment.
  • Experience in working in an administrative environment.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team.
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
