Sheehy Toyota of Laurel is growing, and we're looking for motivated Sales consultants to join our team! We are seeking Experienced Sales Consultants and Bilingual Sales Consultants (English/Spanish) who are ready to take their sales careers to the next level. If you’re a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and strong sales results, this is an opportunity to turn your experience and passion for sales into a rewarding career. Our ideal candidate would have ONE year or more of SALES experience in ANY industry, fluency in both English and Spanish and focused not only on closing the sale, but on building long-term relationships and lifetime customers.

Responsibilities

  • Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the vehicles and accessories
  • Lead customers through proven selling steps that close deals
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring the customer understands the product features, warranty, and paperwork to lay the foundation for customer loyalty
  • Maintain customer information and contacts in CRM
  • Follow-up with existing customers to build relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
  • Develop new business through focused personal marketing efforts through direct mail, networking affiliations, and telemarketing
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pricing and specifications of competitive vehicles to provide clients with informative comparisons.

Requirements

  • Experienced in sales in any industry — one year or more preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish for bilingual positions with fluency
  • Previous automotive sales experience is preferred
  • Have a coachable, positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
  • Outgoing 'people person' passionate about sales and helping clientele.
  • Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentage.
  • Be ambitious, energetic, goal-oriented and motivated to succeed
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen
