Job Summary

Plan, prepare, and cook Bangladeshi meals according to daily menus and production schedules while maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. Lead kitchen operations to ensure consistent food quality and efficient workflow under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and cook Bangladeshi meals according to daily menu and production schedule to meet required quantities
  • Able to work in a central kitchen settings.
  • Able to work as a team in hot kitchen.
  • Ensure meals consistently meet company standards and quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly kitchen environment at all times
  • Oversee kitchen duties including food preparation and tasks for opening and closing shifts
  • Apply various cooking methods and techniques to ensure food quality and consistency
  • Work efficiently under pressure to meet daily production deadlines
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Communicate clearly and multitask effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and high kitchen performance
  • Flexible to work in any shifts, especially in split shifts.
  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chief Cook, Head Cook, or similar kitchen role
  • Knowledge and experience in preparing Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and menu preparation
  • Good communication and leadership skills to lead and work within a team
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience
