The role also includes coordinating with the creative and studio teams to ensure photoshoots run on schedule and maintaining an organized sample room system that supports efficient recutting, tracking, and visual readiness for upcoming seasons.

  • Oversee the weekly new item launching schedule to ensure all SKC targets are met accurately and on time.
  • Submit the complete launch plan every Wednesday for the following week, including new items, recolors, and outfit linkings.
  • Review each day’s launch readiness at least one business day prior to launch (linking, images, measurements, inventory).
  • Communicate any linking errors, missing measurements, or readiness concerns to the China team before deadlines.
  • Maintain and update launch trackers with current status, delays, and revised timelines.
  • Align weekly and monthly launch progress with merchandising goals; prepare and share progress reports with management.

Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the main contact between the U.S. and China teams to ensure all product data, linkages, and measurements are aligned.
  • Track and report issues that may delay product launches and proactively propose corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized shared folders and documentation for weekly and monthly launch records.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly regarding schedule changes, readiness updates, or reshoot requirements.

Photoshoot Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Creative and Studio teams to schedule and prepare photoshoots based on sample arrival status.
  • Prepare the photoshoot presentation (PPT) at least one week in advance, including finalized product and outfit lists for review.
  • Ensure all samples required for the photoshoot are organized, labeled, and ready for use.
  • Partner with the Creative and Studio teams to ensure the photoshoot schedule runs smoothly without delays.
  • Communicate any missing or delayed samples to the relevant teams promptly to adjust plans as needed.

Sample Room Organization

  • Oversee labeling, organization, and categorization of all seasonal and recutting samples.
  • Maintain sample inventory by grouping styles by category and launch period (e.g., tops, dresses, bottoms).
  • Identify and remove outdated, damaged, or duplicate samples.
  • Ensure all samples are properly labeled with style numbers and months.
  • Provide weekly progress updates and photo documentation by Friday 4 PM.
  • Maintain organization standards consistently once sections are completed.

Quality Control and Process Improvement

  • Conduct routine checks for data accuracy (linking, sizing, imagery).
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting workflow efficiencies in launch and sample management.
  • Ensure zero last-minute launch schedule changes (less than 2 days) unless pre-approved.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in production coordination, product development, or merchandising.
  • Proficient in Excel, shared drive management, and product tracking tools.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
