You will lead a team of specialists while building strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders across Denmark. If you enjoy leading people, solving complex supply chain challenges, and working at the intersection of agriculture and renewable energy, we'd like to hear from you.

  • Translate business strategy into clear team objectives and action plans

Drive commercial and supply chain performance - You will:

  • Own budgets, forecasts, and performance targets related to biomass sourcing and digestate management
  • Develop sourcing strategies and build long-term partnerships with farmers and suppliers
  • Support commercial negotiations and supplier relationship management
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure reliable delivery of biomass supply
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, quality, and operational performance

Provide technical leadership- You will:

  • Act as the team's subject matter expert on biomass, manure, digestate, and agricultural regulations
  • Guide technical assessments and risk evaluations
  • Support the development of digestate handling, storage, treatment, and distribution solutions
  • Ensure compliance with Danish environmental and fertilizer regulations
  • Drive high standards in quality management, data validation, and technical decision-making

Build strong stakeholder relationships - You will work closely with:

  • Farmers and agricultural partners
  • Biomass suppliers
  • Operations and production teams
  • Commercial and procurement colleagues
  • Regulatory and compliance specialists
  • Senior leadership within Shell Biogas

What we're looking for

We're looking for a leader who combines agricultural expertise with strong commercial and people management skills. You will bring:

  • A degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Experience within agriculture, manure management, biomass, digestate, biogas, or advisory services
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and supplier relationships
  • Experience working directly with farmers and agricultural stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Danish agricultural, fertilizer, and environmental regulations

Personal qualities - You are:

  • A trusted relationship builder who creates long-term partnerships
  • An inspiring people leader who develops and motivates others
  • Commercially minded and comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable translating complex technical topics into practical business recommendations
  • Curious, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
