This unique opportunity allows an advanced practice provider to work alongside specialists in Urology, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), and other disciplines to provide comprehensive care for children with spina bifida and other complex neuromuscular conditions.

The APP will participate in multidisciplinary outpatient clinics and provide inpatient support, managing approximately six patients per half-day clinic session and one to two inpatients during designated coverage periods.

This position is based exclusively at Shriners Children's Northern California and does not require call, weekend, holiday, or after-hours coverage. Coverage needs are primarily focused on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional Wednesday clinic coverage. In addition, the provider will support inpatient Spina Bifida services one week per month, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. At minimum, candidates must be available to provide Tuesday clinic coverage and morning inpatient coverage during the designated week each month.

The hourly compensation range for this position is $78.33 to $110.59 per hour. Placement within the range is determined by factors including relevant advanced practice experience, specialized clinical expertise, and internal equity considerations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
