Job Description

The Seasonal Donor Development Associate/Child Life Aide will coordinate the hospital’s “Santa’s Workshop” during the month of December. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, accepting and processing in kind donations, greeting and assisting families as they arrive to Workshop, stocking donation tables with age appropriate toys and gifts, keeping up with workshop décor, and assisting volunteers assigned to Santa’s Workshop. Additionally, the seasonal development associate will assist the Donor Development staff with processing mail, finalizing acknowledgment letters to include folding, stuffing and filing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides group recreation programs and individualized activities in coordination with Child Life and Therapeutic Recreation specialists for hospitalized children and adolescents.
  • Oversees volunteers and central activity area to maintain a safe and inviting environment.
  • Coordinates special events and programming for patients as well as sorting of toy donations received by the hospital.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current full vaccination status
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and consistently changing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
