Job Description

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a part time Patient Care Assistant in our Surgical Services Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned.
• Consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.
• Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or one year experience as a nursing assistant.
• BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of pediatric experience

The pay range for this position is $25.71 - $36.30/hour.


Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
