Ob Krankheitserreger bei Mensch, Tier und Pflanze, Arzneimittelfälschungen, Antibiotikaresistenzen, Rückstände in Lebensmitteln, Boden- und Saatgutuntersuchungen oder auch Strahlen- und Klimaschutz: Immer sind wir beteiligt, im Sinne des One Health-Gedankens mögliche Risiken für Mensch, Tier und Pflanze abzuwehren und einzudämmen und so für mehr Sicherheit für Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher in Österreich zu sorgen. Um dies zu gewährleisten analysieren, überwachen, bewerten, forschen und kommunizieren wir 365 Tage im Jahr. 2 Abteilungsleiter:in IT Operations (w/m/d)

Aufgaben

* Du übernimmst die fachliche, organisatorische und disziplinarische Leitung der Abteilung IT Operations mit rund 30 Mitarbeiter:innen; ca. 16 davon berichten direkt an dich, eine Gruppe von rund 14 Mitarbeiter:innen wird über eine Gruppenleitung geführt.

* Du stellst einen stabilen, leistungsfähigen und zukunftsorientierten Betrieb der IT-Infrastruktur sowie einen professionellen Service Support sicher.

* Du entwickelst die Abteilung strategisch weiter, förderst deine Mitarbeiter:innen gezielt und verantwortest die Budget- und Ressourcenplanung.

* Du steuerst die Abteilung anhand klarer Ziele - Qualität, Produktivität, Wirtschaftlichkeit und Termintreue - und stellst die konsequente Umsetzung erforderlicher IT-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen sicher.

* Du planst und verantwortest die IT-Infrastruktur-Roadmap und führst strategische wie operative Veränderungsvorhaben zum Erfolg.

Qualifikationen

* Abgeschlossene einschlägige IT-Ausbildung (Universität, FH oder HTL) und mehrjährige disziplinarische Führungserfahrung, idealerweise im Bereich IT Operations oder IT-Infrastruktur - vorzugsweise auch in der Führung von Führungskräften sowie fundierte Kenntnisse in Betrieb, Planung und Weiterentwicklung komplexer IT-Infrastrukturen und IT-Architekturen, insbesondere im Rechenzentrumsbetrieb

* Breites technologisches Verständnis in folgenden Bereichen: Server-Betriebssysteme (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux); Virtualisierung (z. B. VMware, Hyper-V) und Container-Technologien; Storage-, Backup- und Recovery-Lösungen; Datenbanksysteme- und Technologien; Netzwerktechnologien (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load Balancing); Cloud- und Hybrid-Architekturen (z. B. Microsoft Azure, M365); Monitoring- und Automatisierungslösungen

* Erfahrung mit IT-Service-Management nach ITIL sowie mit gängigen ITSM-Tools

* Kenntnisse relevanter Sicherheits- und Compliance-Standards (z. B. ISO 27001, NIS2) sowie Erfahrung im Notfall- und Business-Continuity-Management von Vorteil

* Ausgeprägte Führungs-, Kommunikations- und Umsetzungskompetenz, unternehmerisches Denken, eine service- und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie nachweisliche Erfahrung im Projekt- und Prozessmanagement und in der Steuerung komplexer Organisationseinheiten
