Die Österreichische Nationalbank in 1090 Wien, sucht zur Verstärkung des Teams 2 Praktikum in der Zahlungssystem- und IT-Aufsicht (w/m/x) ab Jänner 2027 für die Dauer von 6 Monaten (Beschäftigungsausmaß zwischen 50 und 100%) mit flexibel vereinbarem Startzeitpunkt

Vollzeit oder Teilzeit (Befristung auf 6 Monate)

Ihre Aufgaben

* Mitarbeit an Querschnittsanalysen zu den Themen IT-Risiko, Cyberrisiko und Künstliche Intelligenz:

Erstellung von Konzepten, Durchführung von Trend-, Benchmarking- und Ausreißeranalysen

sowie Interpretation und Dokumentation der Ergebnisse (z.B. kurze Newsletter, Berichte oder Artikelbeiträge)

* Datenmanagement & Qualitätssicherung: Zusammenführung aufsichtlicher Datenquellen (z.B. gemeldete IT-Vorfälle und IT-Auslagerungen), Durchführung strukturierter Datenqualitätsprüfungen und Bereinigungen zur Datenaufbereitung (z.B. Skripte, Excel-Dateien) mittels Nutzung von Python, SQL oder R

* Datenvisualisierung: Erstellung praxistauglicher Dashboards für die Aufsicht (z.B. Netzwerkdarstellungen von Abhängigkeiten) auf Basis aufsichtlicher Daten

Ihr Profil

Das bringen Sie mit

* Laufendes Studium in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Data Science, Statistik/Mathematik oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt auf Datenanalyse, Regulierung oder IT-Risiken

* Interesse an Finanzmarktregulierung und Bankenaufsicht, insbesondere an Themen wie DORA (EU-Verordnung zur digitalen operationellen Resilienz), IT- und Cyberrisiken

* Analytisches Denken, Teamgeist, Genauigkeit und Flexibilität; eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Lernbereitschaft hinsichtlich neuer Tools und Methoden

* Sehr gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse; Kenntnisse in Python, SQL, R und/oder Datenvisualisierung

* Sicherer Umgang mit KI-Anwendungen; Erfahrung mit LLMs und multimodalen Modellen (z.B. GPT) von Vorteil

* kommunikationssichere Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse
