Ihre Aufgaben

* Eigenständige Forschung und aktive Mitarbeit in kooperativen Forschungsprojekten des Instituts, insbesondere in der Analyse, dem Design und der Evaluation von Methoden des maschinellen Lernens (insbesondere Deep Learning)

* Veröffentlichung wissenschaftlicher Ergebnisse in renommierten internationalen Fachzeitschriften und Konferenzen

* Betreuung von Studierenden in Seminaren und Projekten, einschließlich Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten

* Mitwirkung in der Lehre der institutseigenen Kurse sowie bei administrativen Aufgaben, insbesondere Mitwirkung im AI-Studium

* Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung und Einwerbung von Drittmittelanträgen

Ihr Profil

* DerDie erfolgreiche Bewerberin verfügt über ein Doktorat/Ph.D. sowie über Publikationen im Bereich des Designs und der theoretischen Analyse von Methoden des maschinellen Lernens, einschließlich mehrerer Veröffentlichungen auf führenden ML-Konferenzen wie NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML und in JMLR

* Erfahrung in der Theorie und Praxis des maschinellen Lernens, einschließlich Deep Learning, Statistischer Lerntheorie und Benchmark-Entwicklung

* Erfahrung mit LSTM, xLSTM, Zeitreihenanalyse/TiRex, linear attention

* Erfahrung in der Mitbetreuung von Bachelor-, Master- und PhD-Studierenden

* Erfahrung in der Einwerbung drittmittelfinanzierter Forschungsprojekte

* Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (mindestens Niveau B2) und sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens Niveau B2)

* Auf Basis einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung (40 Wochenstunden) beträgt das monatliche Mindestgehalt € 5.014,30 brutto (14 x pro Jahr, KV-Einstufung B1)
