We have an immediate opening for a General Manager, Data Management Solutions. About the Role: The General Manager, Data Management Solutions owns the strategic direction, organizational leadership, and overall performance of Signant Health's Global Data Management function, encompassing RTSM, eCOA, sensors, and EDC operations. This leader holds full profit-and-loss (P&L), budget, and resource allocation accountability for the Data Management organization — including direct P&L ownership of the EDC business line — and sets the enterprise vision and multi-year roadmap for data management, ensuring Signant Health stays ahead of evolving CRO/Pharma industry demands, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The General Manager also serves as Signant Health's foremost subject matter expert on clinical data management, representing the organization's capabilities to clients, prospects, and at industry conferences and forums, and works cross-functionally with Technical Delivery, Product/R&D, Commercial, and Project Management leadership to ensure data management strategy and service delivery support business growth and client commitments. Key Responsibilities:
P&L & Business Ownership: Own full profit-and-loss, budget, and resource allocation accountability for the Data Management function — including direct P&L ownership of the EDC business line — ensuring investments support strategic initiatives, scalability, and profitable growth across RTSM, eCOA, sensors, and EDC. Strategy & Roadmap Leadership: Own the enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for Global Data Management, keeping pace with emerging technology and the evolving CRO/Pharma regulatory landscape. Global Team Leadership: Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to build a high-performing, cross-functional Data Management organization, including hiring, retention, and succession planning for senior leaders. Quality, Compliance & Audit Readiness: Set enterprise standards for data quality, GCP/regulatory compliance, and CDISC standards (e.g., SDTM, ADaM, CDASH) across CDMS/EDC platforms; lead the organization's audit and regulatory inspection readiness, serving as executive point of contact during FDA, EMA, and client audits. Subject Matter Expertise & Client Engagement: Serve as Signant Health's foremost subject matter expert on clinical data management, representing the organization's capabilities to clients, prospects, and industry forums, and partnering with Commercial on strategic pursuits and client presentations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Technical Delivery, Product/R&D, Commercial, and Project Management leadership to ensure data management capabilities and service levels support client commitments and business growth. Performance & Risk Governance: Own governance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across the Data Management organization, presenting performance results and strategy updates to executive leadership; set risk management and business continuity strategy supporting global clinical trial delivery.
