Position Summary

As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS), you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection prevention throughout the hospital. Through your work, you will contribute directly to patient safety, healing, and overall satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas
  • Perform routine and discharge cleaning of patient rooms
  • Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Properly handle and dispose of trash, linens, and regulated waste
  • Restock supplies in assigned areas as needed
  • Safely operate environmental services equipment
  • Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns promptly
  • Deliver courteous and professional service to patients, visitors, and team members
  • Partner with colleagues across the hospital to support an exceptional patient experience

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job throughout the scheduled shift
  • Full-Time Opportunities Available

Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation

1st Shift

7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

2nd Shift

3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

3rd Shift

10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$16.00 - $18.55

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
