  Full Case   – 1st ShiftLocation: Riverside, NJSchedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Simon & Schuster is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Order Selectors, for both full case and split case roles to join the first-shift team at our Riverside, NJ Distribution Center. This position is responsible for accurately selecting full cases and split cases of books to fulfill customer orders while meeting established safety, quality, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities

Pick full cases of books according to order labels and picking instructions.

Use an RF scanner to confirm product locations, quantities, and inventory movements.

Verify that selected products and quantities match order requirements.

Safely move and stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping.

Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or picking issues.

Follow standard operating procedures and meet established picking accuracy and productivity goals.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all warehouse safety requirements.

Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous warehouse or order-picking experience preferred.

Experience using an RF scanner preferred.

Ability to lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow picking instructions accurately.

Ability to work independently and contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to safe work practices and proper product handling.

Availability to work overtime as needed.
