Company Overview

Sin Hiap Hoe Transport is a leading petroleum transporter with extensive experience delivering oil and gas products such as petrol, diesel, fuel oil, and industrial gases. We seek talented individuals to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and other financial reports for Director’s review
  • Prepare and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns ensuring compliance with IRAS regulations
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting, audit, and tax matters
  • Coordinate and prepare schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations for annual statutory audits
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory submissions
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and outstanding balances to maintain financial stability
  • Review accounting transactions, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Perform ad hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Director

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience handling external audits
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, or ACCA qualification or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills demonstrated through independent and motivated work approach
  • Analytical and meticulous with effective bilingual communication skills for liaising with diverse associates
