Job Description

WKRC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant!

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
  • Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
  • Studio and set preparation
  • Maintaining studio
  • Lighting
  • Directing newscasts as needed
  • Some editing for newscasts
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • Experience preferred but education and/or internship in television or related field will be considered
  • Training will be provided
  • Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
  • Other hours as needed, on occasion
