Lead the growth of our automotive financing business

Sing Investments & Finance Limited is looking for an experienced automotive finance and corporate financing professional to lead our Credit Marketing team supporting the automotive sector.

This is a senior commercial opportunity for an individual who understands the automotive financing ecosystem, has strong relationships across the industry and is able to drive both new business and portfolio growth while leading a team.

You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with automotive businesses, identifying new financing opportunities and growing the profitability of the portfolio.

What you'll be responsible for

Lead automotive financing growth

  • Develop and execute business-development strategies to grow the automotive financing portfolio.
  • Identify new customers, business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the automotive sector.
  • Drive revenue, portfolio growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop opportunities for cross-selling and referrals across existing customer relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.

Build strong industry relationships

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with automotive businesses and key industry stakeholders.
  • Build strong partnerships with motor dealers, automotive groups and other relevant industry participants.
  • Leverage your industry network to generate new business opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted financing partner and advisor to customers.

Financing advisory

  • Guide customers through financing applications, structuring and approval processes.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate financing solutions.
  • Work closely with Credit, Operations and other internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient client servicing.
  • Maintain strong understanding of relevant automotive financing products and market practices.

Portfolio management

  • Monitor portfolio performance, revenue and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer retention and deepen existing relationships.
  • Ensure business growth is achieved within the company's credit and risk parameters.
  • Provide regular business and portfolio updates to Senior Management.

Team leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop the Credit Marketing team.
  • Set clear business and performance objectives for the team.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against agreed targets.
  • Develop a strong customer-focused and results-driven culture.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate financing, commercial lending, banking or financial services.
  • Strong experience in automotive financing / auto lending.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or team-leadership experience.
  • Strong track record in relationship management, business development and portfolio growth.
  • Established network and relationships within the automotive industry.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Advantageous experience

Experience with automotive financing products such as:

  • Block Discounting
  • Floor Stock
  • Direct facilities
  • Other dealer or automotive financing solutions
