The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior UX Designer (UX Designer Sênior) based in Brazil

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape intuitive, data-driven experiences for a digital platform that helps public-sector leaders make evidence-based decisions. In this role, you will transform complex datasets, indicators, and performance metrics into clear visual insights that support meaningful action. You will design and evolve dashboards, interactive workflows, and interfaces across areas such as mobility, education, public safety, sustainability, and healthcare. Beyond interface design, you will contribute to product strategy, ensuring that user needs inform product decisions and business priorities. You will also help strengthen a unified design system while working closely with engineering and data science teams. This is an opportunity to take ownership, collaborate in a dynamic product environment, and use design to support more transparent and efficient public management.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve dashboards, interactive workflows, and user interfaces across the platform's key domains, including mobility, education, public safety, sustainability, and healthcare.
  • Transform raw data, indicators, and KPIs into clear, accessible, and actionable visual experiences for public-sector decision-makers and operational teams.
  • Apply data visualization and data storytelling principles to ensure that charts, metrics, and dashboards communicate meaningful insights and guide users toward informed decisions.
  • Contribute to product strategy and conceptual development, bringing user-centered perspectives into business discussions and product decisions.
  • Maintain and evolve the platform's unified design system, promoting consistency, accessibility, scalability, and effective component reuse.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and data scientists to create coherent experiences and ensure that design solutions are technically feasible.
  • Document design rationale, interaction patterns, visual guidelines, and functional requirements to support clear communication with stakeholders and efficient development handoffs.
  • Use product usage metrics and user feedback to validate hypotheses, identify opportunities, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic background.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for complex digital products.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, variants, design tokens, components, and shared libraries.
  • Proven experience designing dashboards, charts, data visualization solutions, data storytelling experiences, and observability interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, including usability heuristics, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and digital accessibility.
  • Ability to design complex user flows with clear visual communication and semantic consistency, as well as create high-fidelity prototypes.
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant dashboard projects or B2B/B2G digital products.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document, explain, and defend design decisions through clear visual and written reasoning.
  • Collaborative mindset and confidence working in cross-functional, relatively flat teams alongside engineering and data specialists.
  • Adaptability to evolving product requirements while maintaining high design standards.
  • Systems thinking and the ability to interpret usage metrics, validate assumptions, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Basic English proficiency.
  • Previous experience with B2G (Business to Government) products, SaaS solutions, or data platforms.
  • Experience managing design systems at scale, including component governance and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with data science concepts.
  • Experience with UX Writing.
  • Genuine interest in combining design, data, and positive social impact.
  • Fully remote working arrangement within Brazil.
  • Full-time, contractor (PJ) engagement.
  • Senior-level opportunity with autonomy and ownership in an evolving digital product.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, and data science.
  • Opportunity to contribute to products that support evidence-based public decisions and more transparent, efficient public services.
  • Professional growth through ongoing product development and the evolution of design practices and systems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
