Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln | Sioux Falls, SD | On-site Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with Flexible Options Available

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating over the phone? We’re looking for an After Market Warranty Coordinator to help our Service Department coordinate warranty claims, track outstanding payments, and keep repair orders moving.

You’ll work with multiple third-party warranty companies to call in claims, obtain authorizations, and follow up on payment. You’ll also assist with accounts receivable and repair order management for pre-delivery inspections and automotive detailing.

Previous experience is not required. Training is provided in person at our location and through Ford online training.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong phone communication skills and confidence working with multiple companies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims, track outstanding items, and meet deadlines.
  • Solid computer and data entry skills.
  • A dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to learn automotive repair terminology and warranty processes; training provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Experience with automotive warranties, accounts receivable, or payment follow-up is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do

Third Party Warranty Claims

  • Call third-party warranty companies to initiate claims and coordinate repair authorizations.
  • Communicate repair information provided by our service team and submit supporting documentation as required.
  • Document claim numbers, authorized amounts, coverage decisions, and payment requirements.
  • Work with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to resolve discrepancies and keep claims moving.
  • Follow up on open claims and keep accurate records of communications and claim status.

Accounts Receivable Support

  • Assist with tracking outstanding balances owed by warranty providers and other companies.
  • Follow up by phone and email to confirm payment status and resolve payment delays.
  • Work with Accounting and the service team to research unpaid invoices, payment discrepancies, and missing documentation.
  • Maintain clear follow-up notes and help ensure payments are received promptly.

Repair Order Management

  • Assist with managing repair orders (ROs) for pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and automotive detailing.
  • Review repair orders for accurate charges, supporting documentation, and completion status.
  • Coordinate with dealership departments to address outstanding items and help ensure repair orders are closed promptly.
  • Provide additional administrative support while protecting confidential customer and company information.
