Looking for a stable full-time position with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow?

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in St. Paul, MN. In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers each day.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: St. Paul, MN

Pay: $16.87/hour

  • Weekly Pay Every Friday

Schedule

  • 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
  • Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
  • Consistent 5-Day Schedule
  • Monday & Friday Off
  • Overnight Shift
  • Weekend Availability Required

What You'll Do

  • Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
  • Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
  • Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
  • Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards
  • Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
  • Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required
