Looking for a stable position with full-time hours, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow?

Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in the Ridgedale Area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, and seeing the results of their work every day.

You'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail environment clean, safe, and ready for customers.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Ridgedale, MN

Pay: $16.00 per hour

  • Weekly Pay Every Friday

Schedule:

  • Tuesday - Sunday
  • 5:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Approximately 38 Hours Per Week
  • Consistent Early Morning Schedule
  • Monday Off Every Week
  • Weekend Availability Required
  • Enjoy Your Afternoons Free

What You'll Do

  • Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
  • Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
  • Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
  • Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
  • Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
  • Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
  • Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull floor care equipment
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required

Training Provided

Carlson provides hands-on training and support to help you succeed and develop valuable floor care skills.
