OVERVIEW

Our client stands at an inflection point. Having built a strong, defensible international footprint, They are now ready to move decisively into their next chapter of growth - one defined not by incremental expansion, but by deliberate, strategic market-building at a global scale. This role exists to lead that chapter.

THE MANDATE

We are seeking an exceptional commercial leader to join our Executive Committee's inner circle as Vice President – Revenue & Market Development - a role created specifically to own, architect, and drive the organization's global growth agenda.

This is not a sales leadership role. It is a market-building and institution-shaping mandate: the individual who steps into this position will be trusted to safeguard what the organization has already built, while independently conceiving, structuring, and scaling what comes next. Success will be measured not in transactions, but in markets opened, networks built, and enterprise value created.

THE SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP

  • Strategic Business Leadership — Design and build the organizational capability required to execute at scale — assembling, developing, and leading the team and structure that will carry the growth agenda forward. This individual leads through architecture and people, not personal execution.
  • Global Agency & Partnership Architecture — Conceive and construct a world-class network of agency and distribution partnerships — the connective infrastructure of international growth. This demands someone who has built such networks before: who understands how to identify the right partners, structure relationships that align incentives, and grow those partnerships into durable, high-performing extensions of the business.
  • Institutional Standards — Establish and uphold a standard of operational excellence that positions the organization credibly on the global stage — ensuring every market entered reflects the caliber of the organization behind it.
  • Core Market Stewardship — Take senior ownership of the organization's established international markets — protecting hard-won relationships and revenue, while identifying the next layer of growth within them.
  • Emerging Market Leadership — Lead the organization's entry into, and stabilization of, new markets — converting early opportunity into scaled, reliable performance through disciplined, hands-on leadership.
  • New Venture & Portfolio Development — Originate entirely new business portfolios and revenue streams — expanding not just where the organization operates, but what it does.
  • Executive Counsel — Operate as a direct, trusted advisor to the Executive Committee — shaping strategic direction at the highest level of the organization, with a seat genuinely at the table.

THE INDIVIDUAL WE'RE SEEKING

  • This role demands a rare combination: the strategic judgment of a senior executive, the commercial instincts of a dealmaker, and the hands-on credibility of someone who has personally built things, not merely overseen them.
  • A demonstrated personal track record of building agency and distributor networks internationally - from first conversation to performing partnership - not as a theoretical competency, but as lived experience
  • Genuine international market-building experience, having taken markets from concept to scale
  • The leadership maturity to build and develop teams rather than operate through them
  • The intellectual range to operate strategically with the Executive Committee, and the operational rigor to ensure strategy becomes results
  • An appetite for sustained international travel and comfort operating across cultures and geographies
  • An entrepreneurial mindset - the ability to originate opportunity where none currently exists
