The posting

MyDefence is a leading provider of advanced counter-drone technology, delivering mission-critical solutions to defense, government, and security customers worldwide. With rapid growth in the U.S. market, the company is expanding its team and strengthening its presence within key military communities.

To support this growth, we are looking for a technically minded and relationship-driven Sales Engineer to work closely with U.S. Army customers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This is a customer-facing role combining technical expertise, relationship building, and commercial development to support MyDefence's continued expansion in the U.S. defense market.

Key Responsibilities As Sales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical and commercial partner to military customers, working closely with the Commercial Director to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and support the sales process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key U.S. Army customers, establishing a consistent presence at Fort Bragg
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer missions, operational challenges, and technical requirements
  • Work closely with the Commercial Director to identify sales opportunities and support customer engagements through closing
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical briefings, and hands-on evaluations of MyDefence's C-UAS solutions
  • Translate operational requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with internal engineering and product teams
  • Support military exercises, field demonstrations, and customer events at Fort Bragg and other military installations
  • Provide technical guidance, product training, and follow-up support to customers
  • Identify opportunities to expand MyDefence's presence within existing military networks and across relevant units and commands
  • Maintain knowledge of MyDefence's product portfolio and developments within electronic warfare, RF technology, and counter-UAS systems

Qualifications

  • Prior U.S. military experience, ideally within the 82nd Airborne Division, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), or similar operational units
  • Previous experience serving or working at Fort Bragg, with an established network and strong relationships within the military community
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, or be willing to relocate to the area
  • Practical experience or strong technical knowledge within electronic warfare (EW), RF systems, tactical communications, or related technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships
  • A commercial mindset and interest in identifying opportunities, supporting sales activities, and contributing to business growth
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both military operators and decision-makers
  • Willingness to travel to military installations, demonstrations, and customer events as needed
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Additionally, previous experience in technical sales, field applications, C-UAS technologies, or a relevant engineering degree is preferred but not required. Relevant military experience, technical understanding, and an established network are considered more important than formal commercial sales experience.

About you You are an outgoing and approachable professional who enjoys being around people and building relationships. You understand the military environment, speak the language of the operators, and know how to establish trust with both technical personnel and decision-makers.

You are technically curious, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership of customer relationships. You enjoy being in the field, understanding customer challenges firsthand, and helping connect operational needs with practical solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
