CDL-A Semi -Local Driver | Sam's South Texas - Laredo, TX

Pay Details & Schedule

  • Minimum Daily Pay: $220
  • Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,300
  • Eligible for a mileage-based driver performance bonus
  • Additional $15 pay (confirm qualifying activity)
  • 6 days on, 2 days off
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Drivers may get home frequently depending on route assignments
  • Some holiday work required

Job Details

  • Regional, non-dedicated operation with varied customers
  • South Texas routes, including Houston, San Antonio, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville, and Harlingen
  • Routes generally operate within the South Texas triangle
  • No-touch freight
  • Dry van trailers
  • Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded freight
  • Runs under Texas Hours of Service regulations
  • Hazmat endorsement is a plus, but not required

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 6 months of tractor-trailer experience
  • First-seat experienced drivers welcome
  • Clean driving record
  • No more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Must pass a drug test
  • No SAP drivers
