SMT is a leading full-service distribution company specialising in construction, materials handling and recycling equipment in Belgium and Luxembourg.

We offer complete, end-to-end solutions, including the sale and rental of machinery, maintenance and repair, and the sale of spare parts.

Thanks to our distribution rights for well-known brands, we work closely with Volvo Construction Equipment, Sennebogen Green Line and Holms in Belux.

SMT Belux is based in Belgium and GD Luxembourg is part of the SMT Group, which is active in more than 25 countries, mainly in North and Central Africa, Great Britain, the United States and the Benelux countries

Als full service distributiebedrijf levert SMT materiaal en machines (denk aan graafmachines, walsers, dumpers,…) voor de sectoren bouw, material handling en recyclage in België en Luxemburg.

We zijn exclusieve verdeler van Volvo, Sennebogen en Holms.

Om onze binnendienstteam uit te breiden zijn we op zoek naar een Toolshop Officer (m/v/x).

Als Toolshop Officer ondersteun je onze service techicians met het aanbrengen van het juiste materieel en zorg je dat iedereen veilig werkt met gekeurd en gekalibreerde werkmiddelen.

Over de rol:

- Je beheert en controleert de keuringen, kalibraties en verificaties van het materieel.

- Je bestelt nieuw materieel bij defect of afkeuring en je zorgt voor het beheer en de opvolging in het voorziene IT systeem.

- Je informeert onze managers en techniekers over het beheer en de beschikbaarheid van gereedschap.

- Je zorgt voor een vlotte overdracht van gekeurd en gekalibreerd materiaal aan het magazijn.

- Je staat in voor een nauwkeurige registratie van alle tools en apparatuur in de garage.

- Je voert regelmatig inspecties uit en coördineert onderhouds- en herstellingswerken om de veiligheid en goede werking van materieel te garanderen.

- Je identificeert noden, doet aankoopaanbevelingen en beheert de voorraad van gereedschappen en PBM's, zodat onze techniekers over de juiste middelen beschikken.

Om succesvol te kunnen zijn in deze job heb je:

- Basis computervaardigheden en bij voorkeur kennis van inventarisbeheersystemen.

- Een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Frans.

- Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en een scherp oog voor detail.

- Een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde manier van werken.

- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.

- Het vermogen om overzicht te bewaren.

- Het is een grote plus wanneer je al kennis hebt van gereedschappen en apparatuur.
