Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

Snap Inc. is a technology company. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, SPECS.

The Global Brand Experience (GBX) team brings Snap brands to life while reinforcing what we stand for as a company — real friendship, free and authentic expression, human-centered design, and a playful irreverence. The team does this globally through in-person and virtual experiences. The GBX team’s mission is to educate our broader community on Snap’s brands by creating opportunities to connect with them on a more emotional level. They look for extraordinary and diverse talent who learn quickly, take big risks, and relish in surprising and delighting our community.

This 12 month fixed-term role will play a pivotal role in the growth of the Snapchat and SPECS business, leading complex experiential projects that bring the brand to life for consumers, partners and the wider industry. Based in Los Angeles, you’ll work closely with Marketing, Comms, Product, Partnerships and other cross-functional teams to help shape and deliver key moments across the Snapchat and SPECS’ go-to-market strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of high-profile Snapchat and SPECS events, experiences and retail initiatives, taking ownership from strategy and concept development through production, launch and post-event evaluation
  • Helping translate Snap business priorities into impactful consumer experiences, retail programming and brand moments
  • Support the continued growth of the SPECS retail business, partnering with GBX colleagues and cross-functional teams on new store openings, temporary retail activations and the evolution of the in-store customer experience
  • Develop and support programming strategies for SPECS brick-and-mortar locations, creating a consistent calendar of events, cultural moments, partnerships, product demonstrations and community programming that drives repeat visitation and product discovery
  • Develop event strategies that supports key commercial moments including product launches, feature releases and priority sales periods
  • Lead large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with significant visibility across the organization, bringing structure and clarity to complex and fast-moving workstreams
  • Manage cross-functional teams across GBX, Comms, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Creative, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned on objectives, decisions, dependencies and timelines
  • Own comprehensive project plans, budgets, production schedules and risk management across multiple concurrent projects
  • Provide clear, concise project updates to senior stakeholders and proactively surface risks, decisions and opportunities
  • Champion bold, creative thinking to bring the Snapchat and SPECS brands to life in ways that feel culturally relevant and differentiated
  • Lead agency and vendor relationships, setting clear expectations around creative ambition, scope, timing, budget and executional quality
  • Oversee production planning, technical delivery and on-site execution across live events, retail activations and brand experiences
  • Contribute to concept development and ideation, ensuring work aligns with Snapchat and SPECS business objectives, Snap’s creative standards and the overall brand strategy
  • Establish scalable processes, toolkits and operating models that can support the continued expansion of the SPECS experiential and retail business
  • Evaluate project and programming performance, using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform future strategy and investment
  • Embody Snap’s values: Smart, Kind, and Creative

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Significant experience leading complex, high-profile experiential, retail or integrated brand projects
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to independently own major workstreams and drive projects forward across multiple functions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage significant complexity while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker who can connect individual projects and programs back to broader business and commercial objectives
  • Experience developing consumer programming, retail activations or ongoing experiential calendars is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of how physical retail, experiential marketing and cultural programming can work together to drive awareness, engagement and sales
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and building structure in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence communicating with senior and executive stakeholders
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to influence teams without direct authority
  • Strong judgment and ability to proactively identify risks, dependencies and opportunities
  • Skilled in agency management, vendor negotiations and contract management
  • Comfortable operating across both strategic planning and detailed execution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Apple applications
  • Thrives in both independent and highly collaborative team environments

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
