About the role

We are looking for a Banking Operations Administrator to join our Banking Operations team. You will run the day-to-day back office for account administration and seizure orders, handle consumer lending requests, manual legal entities onboarding and support funds transfer and card-related requests.

What you'll be doing

Account Administration & Seizures

  • Manual onboarding, account opening and closing (merchants; exceptions for individuals)
  • Monitoring reconciliation and settlement of snappi transactions
  • Issuing account statements and certificates (e.g., interest income)
  • Handling queries on account fees/pricing and exceptions on account access or deposit interest
  • Processing seizure orders (e-seizures) from AADE, e-EFKA, courts and other creditors:

Funds Transfers (support)

  • Supporting customer requests on transfers (recalls, reversals, investigations, Verification of Payee queries
  • First-level review of transfer exceptions and alerts, escalating to the Funds Transfers and AML teams

Consumer Lending

  • Handling customer requests coming through Customer Service
  • Pay Later returns, disputes and exceptions
  • Pay Later / Early Salary statements, and support for future loan products

Cards (support)

  • First-level handling of card-related requests from Customer Service and escalation to the Cards team

Reporting, processes & controls

  • Preparing operational and regulatory reporting for the above areas
  • Documenting procedures and improvements, including automation opportunities
  • Taking part in testing (UAT) of new features and products with Product and IT

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business, or equivalent banking experience
  • 3 years’ experience in banking sector
  • General knowledge with seizure orders and the related framework (e-seizures, unseizable accounts)
  • General knowledge of retail lending (consumer loans, Pay Later, loan lifecycle)
  • General understanding of payments and funds transfers (SEPA, SEPA Instant, TARGET/T2, DIAS, PSD2)
  • General awareness of AML and sanctions screening
  • Basic understanding of card payments (schemes, disputes/chargebacks)
  • Working knowledge of GDPR in a banking context
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and a control mindset
  • Clear verbal and written communication; strong collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent Greek and English
