🚀 Welcome to Your Next Adventure!

We are looking for a Lead People Partner – Technology, Product & IT to lead the People agenda for one of the largest and most strategically important areas of our organization.

Supporting employees across Technology, Product and IT, this role will act as the primary strategic People Partner to the CTO, CPO and CIO leadership, while leading a small team of People Partners embedded across business verticals, core technology, platforms and enabling functions.

The Lead People Partner is expected to deeply understand how the organization operates, where the business is going, how technology capabilities need to evolve, and what this means for organizational structure, workforce capacity, leadership and talent.

You will translate business strategy into an actionable people and organization agenda — challenging assumptions, identifying organizational risks early, and proactively bringing recommendations to senior leaders.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:

  • Strategic Business PartnershipAct as the primary People Partner to the CTO, CPO and CIO leadership, as well as senior Technology, Product and IT leaders. Develop a deep understanding of business priorities, product strategy, technology capabilities and organizational dependencies. Translate business plans into workforce, organization and talent priorities. Proactively identify organizational opportunities and risks rather than waiting for stakeholder requests. Bring data, external perspective and organizational judgment into leadership decision-making. Challenge leaders constructively on organization, talent, workforce and leadership decisions.
  • Organization Design & EffectivenessLead organization design work across Technology, Product and IT as the business evolves. Partner with leaders on organizational structures, spans and layers, role clarity, leadership accountabilities and team effectiveness. Understand the relationship between business verticals and shared capabilities, ensuring the organization evolves without creating unnecessary duplication or silos. Support the evolution of Product and Engineering structures as existing verticals scale and new businesses are incubated. Identify organizational bottlenecks, capability gaps and structural opportunities before they become business constraints. Lead major organizational changes and ensure effective implementation.
  • Strategic Workforce PlanningOwn the consolidated workforce view across Technology, Product and IT. Translate business and product priorities into capability and workforce requirements. Lead headcount planning and prioritization with senior stakeholders. Challenge incremental hiring requests by assessing existing capacity, organizational design and opportunities for reallocation. Establish clear business triggers for future hiring. Partner with leaders to determine where new hires should be allocated across teams and business domains. Maintain visibility of approved, actual and open headcount across the organization. Partner with Finance, Talent Acquisition and Rewards on workforce cost, hiring priorities and workforce scenarios. Build forward-looking workforce plans that anticipate the capabilities required as the organization scales. The expectation is not simply to answer “Can we hire?”, but to help the business answer: “What capability do we need, when do we need it, where should it sit, and is hiring the right solution?”
  • Leadership & TalentOwn the senior talent agenda across Technology, Product and IT. Partner with executives on leadership effectiveness, succession planning and critical-role coverage. Identify critical talent, high-potential employees and retention risks. Lead talent reviews and ensure actions translate into meaningful development, succession and workforce decisions. Coach senior leaders through complex organizational and people decisions. Partner with leaders to strengthen management capability across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, IT and related functions. Support senior hiring and leadership appointments in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Performance & Organizational HealthUse performance, engagement, attrition, employee relations and workforce data to identify organizational patterns and risks. Drive effective performance management and calibration across the organization. Partner with leaders on underperformance, organizational capability gaps and team effectiveness. Ensure talent and performance decisions are connected to business outcomes rather than treated as standalone HR processes. Maintain visibility of organizational health across different domains, teams and leadership populations.
  • Compensation & Talent MarketPartner with Rewards on compensation positioning for Technology, Product and IT talent. Understand relevant technology talent markets and advise leaders on competitiveness, internal equity and retention risks. Support compensation decisions for critical and senior talent. Contribute to location and talent-market strategy, particularly where capabilities can be built across multiple geographies.
  • Leading the People Partnering ModelYou will lead a small People Partnering team supporting the Technology, Product and IT organization. The model combines:Business Products & Verticals — partnering across Product and Engineering teams aligned to established and emerging business domains. Core, Platforms & Enabling Technology — partnering across core engineering, platforms, data, design, BI, cyber security, digital innovation and IT capabilities. As Lead People Partner, you will:Set the strategic agenda and priorities for the partnering team. Directly partner with executives and the senior leadership layer. Ensure People Partners develop deep understanding of their respective organizations. Coach and develop People Partners toward increasingly strategic business partnership. Ensure consistent standards and ways of working across portfolios. Connect issues and opportunities across organizational boundaries. Maintain one consolidated view of the overall Technology, Product and IT organization.

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner, People Partner or equivalent, ideally within a technology, digital, product-led or high-growth organization.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with C-level executives and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of Technology and Product organizations, including Engineering, Product Management and shared technology capabilities.
  • Proven experience in organization design, strategic workforce planning and talent management.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into organizational and workforce implications.
  • Strong analytical capability and comfort using workforce data to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed or rapidly evolving organizations.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to balance business priorities, employee considerations and organizational sustainability.
  • Experience coaching senior leaders through organizational and talent decisions.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to the organization to understand what is actually happening.

✨ Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Experience leading or developing People Partners/HRBPs is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies or distributed technology teams is an advantage.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
