Wil jij bouwen aan oplossingen die direct impact hebben op het operationele optreden van Defensie?

Dan is de Venture Track van Defensie iets voor jou. Dit is een intensief programma waarin je met een klein team werkt aan concrete en actuele uitdagingen binnen Defensie. Je werkt samen met je team toe naar het ontwikkelen van producten of diensten rondom kritieke operationele vraagstukken. Je leert tijdens dit programma jouw innovaties direct te testen en ontwikkelt deze door in de praktijk.

Je co-creëert intensief met operationele eenheden en je test oplossingen in realistische omstandigheden. Je komt in dienst bij Society College en gaat aan de slag bij Defensie. Hier heb je als deelnemer van de Venture Track een belangrijke rol. Zowel als tester, als ontwikkelaar: je evalueert wat werkt, past aan en ontwikkelt door op basis van feedback uit de praktijk.

Binnen het traject worden actief behoeften opgehaald bij verschillende Defensie-eenheden, waarmee je direct mee kunt starten. We werken samen met partners die vanuit hun expertise het trainingsprogramma verzorgen en je alle facetten leren van het ondernemen. In de negen maanden doorloop je trainingen en workshops zoals talentgericht werken, teamvorming, onderwerpselectie, verdieping van de operationele vraag, design thinking, prototype ontwikkeling met intensief testen, en businessplanning richting eventuele investerings of vervolgstappen.

De groep zal bestaan uit maximaal 20 deelnemers.

Locatie

Je werkt voornamelijk bij de eenheden, vanuit een kantoorlocatie op het Marineterrein in Amsterdam of bij de deelnemende bedrijven. Het traject vraagt fulltime inzet. Je komt in dienst van Society College, maar werkt voor Defensie.

Let op: het aantal plekken is beperkt en er zal strenge selectie plaatsvinden

Er zijn verschillende instroommomenten en deadlines om je aan te melden:

  • Lichting 2 in januari zit VOL
  • Lichting 3 in 2027, startdatum wordt later bekend gemaakt.

Basiseisen

  • Je bent 18 jaar of ouder
  • We verwachten dat je naast opdrachten, zal bouwen aan je eigen initiatieven en die meeneemt naar de Venture Track
  • Je bent iemand die graag dingen toepast in de praktijk
  • Je bent flexibel en weet je aan te passen naar de Defensie omgeving

Het selectieproces voor het ondernemerstrack

Wij selecteren aan de voorkant niet op CV, maar op een objectieve, anonieme manier. We starten ons selectieproces met een online assessment, waarin we kijken naar:

  • Cognitieve en analytische vaardigheden
  • Persoonlijkheid en gedrag

Tip: Neem voor het assessment ook echt even de tijd om dit goed te doen (zorg dat je ongestoord kunt gaan zitten voor het assessment).

Indien je het assessment hebt gehaald, vindt er een motivatiegesprek plaats.
