This engagement will not be a full-time role, with DAFF looking to engage a resource on a part-time basis to oversee the programs technical delivery at approximately 1-2 days per week.

DSD is responsible for the management and delivery of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) functions and activities across Australia and overseas for the department. The division provides a secure, modern ICT environment so that the department can conduct its business 24/7 and focus on achieving departmental outcomes.

The duties performed will include:

  • Working with product development teams to understand system architectures, and services including complex integrations with other systems.
  • Identify gaps in monitoring and logging that need to be addressed, including by both the end-to-end monitoring team and by product development teams.
  • Communicate with business, product development teams and technical stakeholders within DSD about their pain points, potential solutions, their role in monitoring and any blockers as they arise during implementation.
  • Work closely with technical leads to design monitoring dashboards that provide real-time insights into system and application health.
  • Assist the Solution Architect to develop and document strategies for the enterprise monitoring capability.
  • Lead technical planning and delivery of the log aggregator in accordance with the program outcomes, including managing technical dependencies.
  • Lead technical resources on the program to deliver to program outcomes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
