The role proactively identifies, investigates, and resolves SAP errors that could disrupt Goods Issue (GI), Goods Receipt (GR), inventory movements, order fulfillment, and warehouse execution. This role will be global in nature working across all regions.
The analyst partners with Distribution Centers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), Customer Supply Chain, Transportation, IT, and Finance to maintain inventory accuracy at the material and batch level, support monthly inventory reconciliation, and keep SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) inventory aligned.
What You’ll Be Working On
SAP Transaction Monitoring & Error Resolution
- Monitor SAP daily to identify and eliminate errors that may prevent successful execution of Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, inventory transfers, stock movements, order processing, warehouse processing, and shipping activities.
- Investigate transaction failures, interface errors, master data issues, inventory exceptions, and other system conditions that could interrupt inbound or outbound operations.
- Perform daily SAP error management and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams, 3PL partners, IT, and external service providers.
- Analyze recurring SAP errors, identify root causes, and drive sustainable corrective actions to reduce repeat failures.
- Maintain issue logs, escalation tracking, and resolution documentation for critical operational errors.
- Support SAP testing, process improvements, and system deployment activities as required.
Inventory Reconciliation & Control
- Prepare Sol de Janeiro and 3PL inventory files for monthly reconciliation.
- Analyze discrepancies between 3PL and Sol de Janeiro inventory snapshots.
- Reconcile SAP and WMS inventory at the material, batch, plant, and storage-location level.
- Research inventory differences and coordinate timely resolution with warehouse, Finance, IT, and supply chain stakeholders.
- Support month-end inventory reconciliation, cycle count, physical inventory, and audit activities.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and identify trends, risks, and recurring sources of variance.
Inventory Adjustments & Transaction Support
- Determine appropriate corrective actions for validated inventory discrepancies.
- Post approved stock adjustments and inventory movement transactions in SAP in accordance with company controls.
- Support inbound and outbound transaction processing, including ODPC and other operational inventory-control processes.
- Assist with Amazon and other key customer or channel inventory activities.
- Collaborate with internal Sol de Janeiro stakeholders to resolve inventory issues caused by external operational factors.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain reporting for SAP errors, transaction failures, inventory reconciliation results, inventory adjustments, and SAP-to-WMS discrepancies.
- Provide clear status updates on critical issues, root causes, business impact, ownership, and resolution.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen system controls, improve data quality, and reduce manual intervention.
- Document standard work and support training for recurring SAP and inventory processes.
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
