You'll work alongside experienced crew leads on PV, Powerwall and other batteries, generators and EV chargers. These are skills that stay in demand.

What you'll do

  • Install equipment and conduit, pull wire and terminate
  • Read prints and layouts and do material take-offs
  • Test and record insulation resistance and IV curves
  • Configure devices, and troubleshoot and repair systems
  • Keep work code-compliant and the jobsite clean, and maintain your vehicle stock
  • Follow safety guidelines and represent SA well with customers

Requirements

What you bring

  • 3+ years as a journeyman electrician
  • Working knowledge of the NEC (2020/2023 preferred; 2014/2017 accepted)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Self-driven, with good time management
  • Verifiable references
  • Nice to have: power generation experience, OSHA 10/30, NABCEP or equivalent

Physical demands

  • Work unsupervised and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Stand, walk and use hands regularly. Travel to job sites as required. Our crews have completed 1,000+ Tesla projects and 800+ batteries in this region, and customers notice: "polite, kept me updated, fixed it in 30 minutes." We celebrate wins and recognize people publicly, and many of our team members are celebrating their 1-3 year anniversaries.
