Solar PV & Industrial Monitoring

Solar Warehouse Pte. Ltd. | Singapore

About Solar Warehouse

Solar Warehouse is a solar solutions and distribution company serving the photovoltaic (PV) industry across Singapore and the wider APAC region. We specialise in supplying high-quality solar modules, inverters, mounting systems, cables, and other essential solar components, alongside technical consultancy and engineering support.

Our business focuses on residential, commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar projects, helping customers identify suitable solar solutions through technical expertise, practical engineering advice, and reliable product supply.

We are also expanding our consultancy capabilities in industrial condition monitoring and continuous monitoring solutions, creating opportunities to work across both renewable energy and industrial technology sectors.

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Applications Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to business development, customer relationships, and technical project delivery.

Your Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial and industrial rooftop solar markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with solar installers, EPC contractors, developers, consultants, building owners and industrial clients.
  • Promote and sell solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and other photovoltaic components.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers, and follow up on leads and ongoing projects.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Support market research, lead generation and the development of new business opportunities across Singapore and APAC.

Technical Engineering & Applications

  • Assess rooftop solar opportunities and support preliminary feasibility studies based on roof layouts, building plans and site conditions.
  • Provide technical advice on solar system configurations, component selection and system design considerations.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers and project partners to clarify technical requirements and resolve project-related issues.
  • Support solar project proposals, technical documentation, yield assessments and preliminary financial analysis.
  • Work closely with customers and engineering partners to develop practical, cost-effective and reliable solar solutions.

Industrial Monitoring & Consultancy

  • Explore business opportunities in industrial condition monitoring and continuous monitoring consultancy.
  • Support the introduction of monitoring technologies, instrumentation and technical solutions to industrial customers.
  • Assist in identifying customer requirements and coordinating with technology providers on suitable monitoring systems.

Candidates with experience in industrial monitoring, instrumentation, vibration analysis, electrical diagnostics or Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) are especially welcome.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy, or a related discipline.
  • Experience or a strong interest in technical sales, business development, engineering consultancy or the solar PV industry.
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technical or commercial solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in a growing business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preparation of quotations, proposals and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to learn, develop new business opportunities and work collaboratively with customers and suppliers.

Additional advantages:

  • Experience in residential, commercial or industrial rooftop solar PV projects.
  • Knowledge of solar modules, inverters, mounting systems, electrical systems or PV system design.
  • Existing industry contacts among solar installers, EPC contractors, consultants or industrial customers.
  • Background in industrial condition monitoring, instrumentation, vibration analysis, electrical testing or predictive maintenance.

We welcome candidates who combine technical knowledge with commercial drive, as well as engineers looking to develop their careers in technical sales and consultancy.

What We Offer

  • An opportunity to grow with a company operating in the renewable energy and industrial technology sectors.
  • Exposure to diverse projects spanning residential, commercial and industrial solar applications.
  • Opportunities to develop both technical engineering expertise and commercial business development skills.
  • A dynamic working environment with direct involvement in customer engagement, project development and strategic business initiatives.
  • Competitive, performance-oriented remuneration with opportunities for growth based on experience and contribution.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
