About the role As part of the evolution of our Group IT operating model, we are looking for an IT Applications Support Europe to drive the run and continuous improvement of application support services across the region.

You will be accountable for the stability, performance and supportability of a portfolio of business-critical applications used across our European operations. You will work closely with our IT teams, business stakeholders, application experts, project teams and external partners to make sure our application services are reliable, well governed and aligned with business needs. This hands-on role sits within our IT Run organisation.

What you'll do

Application run & stability

  • Own the day-to-day run of a portfolio of business-critical applications across Europe
  • Coordinate incident and problem resolution with the Service Desk (L1), L3 experts and vendors
  • Monitor performance, SLAs and KPIs, and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes

Change, release & transition to run

  • Oversee production changes, patches and upgrades together with L3 teams
  • Ensure a smooth handover of new applications and changes from project teams into run, with clear acceptance criteria
  • Contribute to Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and keep business disruption to a minimum
  • Keep support documentation and the knowledge base up to date

Vendors & stakeholders

  • Manage vendor relationships, KPIs and service quality
  • Act as the go-to coordinator for application support topics across Europe
  • Report clearly on service performance, risks and improvement actions

Continuous improvement & compliance

  • Reduce recurring incidents through standardisation, automation and proactive monitoring
  • Provide run insights (incidents, technical debt, performance) to inform application roadmap and lifecycle decisions
  • Make sure applications comply with Group security policies, and support audits and remediation

What you'll bring

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in application support, application operations or IT service management, in the same or a similar role, ideally in an international, multisite organisation
  • Proven experience coordinating L2/L3 support, external providers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of incident, problem, change and release management
  • Ability to manage priorities, risks and escalations in a business-critical environment
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A structured, pragmatic and customer-focused approach
  • Professional fluency in English. Other European languages are a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing, food or industrial environment is an advantage

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
