Position Summary

Solution Community seeks a strategic, data-driven Volunteer Retention Manager to lead the organization's volunteer engagement and retention strategy.

This role ensures volunteers remain connected, engaged, productive, and supported throughout their volunteer journey. The Volunteer Retention Manager serves as the central partner between the People Team and functional Team Leads, helping establish a culture where volunteer success and retention are shared responsibilities across the organization.

The successful candidate will develop retention initiatives, oversee volunteer engagement analytics, identify attrition risks, support Team Leads in managing volunteers effectively, and create systems that improve volunteer satisfaction, productivity, and long-term commitment.

This position combines workforce analytics, relationship management, volunteer experience design, and organizational development.

Why This Role Matters

At Solution Community, volunteer retention is not solely the responsibility of the People Team. Volunteers remain engaged when they experience meaningful work, effective leadership, consistent communication, recognition, and opportunities to contribute. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
