Responsibilities:

- Offers guidance on department design guides, standards, and applicable codes.

- Aids in creating and updating engineering standards.

- Provides technical advice on projects and disciplines.

- Independently adheres to quality programs for assigned tasks.

- Ensures compliance with quality standards.

- Supports continuous improvement efforts.

- Prepares complex engineering documents for larger projects.

- Conducts research and recommends equipment/materials.

- Manages data for engineering tasks.

- Conducts engineering calculations.

- Manages budget, schedule, and quality.

- Applies advanced engineering techniques.

- Reviews lower-level engineering work.

- May lead production teams or coordinate multiple activities.

- Coordinates with internal/external team members on projects.

- Considers client interests and communicates them to the team.

- Identifies client interests on projects.

- Communicates client interests to the team.

- Offers additional services to clients.

- Supports business development activities.

- Provides technical expertise to project teams.

- Supports projects with complex technical challenges.

- Promotes knowledge sharing and mentors others.

- Applies advanced engineering concepts.

- Assists with performance management and mentoring.

- Participates in career planning and development.

Resource Management:

- Implements resource management strategies.

- Manages engineering resources.

- Handles administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in PLS Cadd.

- Strong written communication and other relevant skills.

- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and standards.

- Experience in client interaction and relationship-building.

- Strong verbal communication skills.

- Ability to think quickly and prioritize tasks.

- Experience with utility-scale electrical transmission systems and structural design.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering.

- Minimum of 8 years of related experience.

- PE License.
