Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support the maintenance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment. This role is suitable for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting while taking on team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
  • Work closely with technicians to resolve equipment issues and minimise downtime.
  • Support root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements.
  • Assist in equipment installation, modification and improvement projects.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating daily maintenance activities.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and company requirements.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and breakdown repair skills for manufacturing machinery.
  • Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Supervisory, team-leading or Senior Technician experience is an advantage.
  • Must be willing to work hands-on with the maintenance team.
