The posting

Join our Business Intelligence team in Budapest and help turn complex data into clear, useful information for teams across Europe. Working alongside experienced specialists, you will build your knowledge of SQL databases, Power BI reporting and SAP data while contributing to reliable business insights.

This is a practical role where you will support data loads and transformations, maintain tables and scheduled jobs, assist users and help improve reporting. You will take responsibility for your own tasks, with guidance available as you develop your technical skills and understanding of the business.

You will join an open, diverse team that values questions, shared learning and fresh ideas. It is a great next step if you already have some BI or data experience and want broader exposure to modern tools, European stakeholders and a growing technology environment.

You will:

  • Support the day-to-day maintenance of SQL databases, tables, stored procedures, scheduled jobs and user access.
  • Help bring data into SQL from SAP Business Warehouse and other sources, then clean and transform it for reporting.
  • Create and update Power BI reports, data views and practical tools for business users.
  • Investigate routine data and reporting issues, escalating more complex problems with clear information.
  • Make agreed updates when business structures, processes or reporting requirements change.
  • Contribute ideas that reduce manual work and improve the accuracy and usability of BI solutions.

You will bring:

  • Some hands-on experience using SQL to query, organise or transform data, gained through work, study or personal projects.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards in Power BI or a similar data visualisation tool.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving, with care for data quality and attention to detail.
  • Clear English communication skills and confidence working with colleagues in an international environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new systems, tools and business processes.
  • Exposure to SAP Business Warehouse, Python, Power Platform, Databricks, GitHub or Visual Basic would be useful, but is not essential.
