The posting

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Machine Operator oversees the smooth running of the manufacturing process to produce according to the company's quality and quantity requirements.        THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

Drive the manufacturing process, correct defects and ensure productivity. Perform equipment inspections and cleaning according to procedures. Adjust equipment to meet specifications. Verify product quality according to established standards. Enter production data into computerized management systems. Perform first-level maintenance tasks. Ensure proper communication and transition of information between teams. Suggest measures to improve production activities and occupational health and safety. Perform any other related tasks as assigned

  THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR Your Education :

High school diploma.

  Your Experience : 

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Machine Operator. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience in a Team Leader position (An asset).

  Your Knowledge and Competencies:

Knowledge of machine controls and automation. Knowledge of industrial maintenance (An asset). Experience in reporting results, working with the ERP system (An asset). Knowledge of the French language (An asset).

  Your Skills And Attitudes:

Safety Awareness Strong team spirit, good work ethic. Computer literate. Willingness to learn. Comfortable with technology Problem solving skills Mechanically inclined/aptitude Attention to detail Meticulous in monitoring machine settings and outputs Able to visualize the manufacturing process

The Work Conditions : 

The role may include exposure to dusty and hot environments

  Your Physical Requirements :

Mandatory use of safety glasses, earplugs, and safety boots at all times Handling of loads up to 50 lbs
