MUST HAVES:

  • 8–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience supporting testing and validation activities in enterprise IT initiatives.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and/or Finance & Operations (F&O) in enterprise solution environments.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale system implementations or modernization programs, including post‑go‑live enhancement phases.
  • Experience working in structured governance environments, including formal testing, validation, and business approval processes.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to validate solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Nice to Have:

  • Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification (e.g., Finance Functional Consultant Associate or equivalent) is considered an asset.

Scope:

  • The Business Analyst supports the delivery of assigned enhancements of the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) Modernization program, including functionality intentionally sequenced beyond the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • The role bridges business requirements, solution configuration, and validation activities, working closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, and refine business and functional requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to success, as the Business Analyst must build effective working relationships, facilitate discussions, and ensure business needs are accurately understood, documented, and clearly articulated.
  • The Business Analyst translates business needs into clear, prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria and plays a key role in validating that implemented solutions meet business expectations. This includes active participation in testing and quality assurance activities from a business validation perspective, such as supporting system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), validating test outcomes against documented requirements and acceptance criteria, and confirming business readiness for solution sign‑off and deployment.
  • The Business Analyst collaborates closely with Solution Architects, Developers, testing teams, and business users throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements definition through testing, deployment, and transition to operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is considered desirable, particularly where business processes or solution components interact with financial or accounting functions.

Assignment Deliverables

The Business Analyst will be responsible for delivering the following outputs in support of assigned enhancements of the OPGT Modernization program:

Business and Functional Requirements

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Develop clear, prioritized user stories and business led acceptance criteria aligned with approved scope and business objectives.

Functional Design and Configuration Support

  • Provide functional guidance for Microsoft Dynamics365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) configuration, customization, workflows, forms, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
  • Participate in functional and technical design reviews to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry accepted best practices.

Testing and Validation Artifacts (Business QA Ownership)

  • Develop and document testing artifacts, including business test scenarios, test cases, and validation results.
  • Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and deployment readiness activities from a business validation perspective.
  • Verify configured workflows, dashboards, forms, reports, and interfaces against documented business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate test outcomes and confirm readiness for business sign off prior to deployment.

Defect and Issue Management

  • Support defect identification, analysis, and business validation during testing and deployment phases.
  • Assess business impact and collaborate with the Project Manager and delivery teams to escalate high impact issues as required.

Operational Readiness and Knowledge Transfer

  • Support deployment readiness, transition activities, documentation, and knowledge transfer to enable adoption and sustainable operations beyond the initial MVP release.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong functional, analytical, and testing expertise within enterprise ERP and CRM environments:

Dynamics 365 Functional Expertise

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics365 Customer Engagement (CE), with working knowledge of Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Knowledge of Dynamics365 configuration capabilities, including workflows, dashboards, forms, views, reports, and integrations.

Business Analysis and Testing (Business QA Focus)

  • Strong experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Solid understanding of quality assurance concepts, testing methodologies, and business validation processes for ERP and CRM solutions.
  • Experience developing business test scenarios and test cases, and supporting system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing to validate alignment with requirements and acceptance criteria.

Tools and Delivery Practices

  • Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps for requirements, test case, and defect management.

  • Understanding of agile, iterative, or SDLC‑based delivery methodologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
