The posting

Sourceworx, in partnership with MICT SETA, invites qualifying students to apply for a 6-month University Placement Programme designed to provide practical workplace experience, support academic learning, and equip participants with valuable industry-relevant skills. This programme is intended for students who require in-service training, work-integrated learning (WIL), or practical workplace exposure as part of their Diploma or Degree requirements. Successful applicants will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while developing the competencies needed to enhance their future employability. Applications from persons with disabilities and candidates from previously disadvantaged groups are encouraged.

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen

• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing/Information Technology/Computer Science (Final Year Student)

• Never participated in any SETA placement programme

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Computer literacy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
