The posting

Job Title: Site QA/QC Inspector

Job Purpose:

To ensure all site activities and materials comply with project quality requirements, approved specifications, and standards by conducting thorough inspections, reporting findings, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the QHSE Manager.

Monitor site activities performed by Spacemaker and subcontractors to ensure:

  • Compliance with contract requirements
  • Adherence to best practices
  • Conformance with approved shop drawings
  • Use of only approved materials
  • Conduct all inspections according to the inspection plan and provide feedback to the QHSE Manager.
  • Inspect modules and materials delivered to the site and report any defects.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including: Inspection Requests (IRs) Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Corrective Action Reports (CARs) Site inspection records
  • Submit RFIs to clients/consultants QA/QC Engineers and attend related inspections.
  • Coordinate with client QC inspectors to resolve site-related quality issues.
  • Follow up on inspection findings to ensure closure with the Site Manager/Engineer.
  • Ensure all measuring and testing equipment used on site is: Properly calibrated Certified by approved professional bodies
  • Prepare weekly reports on project quality management.
  • Issue NCRs for any identified non-conformities.
  • Carry out any other QA/QC tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil or equivalent)

QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, ASNT Level II)

Desirable

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

CBT approved

Experience:

Mandatory

5+ years of experience in QA/QC for construction or modular projects

Familiarity with ITP, NCR, RFIs, and QA documentation

Desirable

Experience in Aramco or NEOM projects

Skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong documentation and reporting ability
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive quality mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and in coordination with multiple teams
